freemind mindmapping colaboration over the net

 

It´s no big news that FreeMind is one of the best mindmapping utilities. That´s not only because it is free like in free beer, but also because it is extremely easy to handle and it works on any operating system. There is no use in recommending it any further, because once you tried it, you´ll be hooked anyway.

But (and there is always a big butt), it just got even better!

I recently stumbled across a website, where you can upload your mindmaps to and work on them online! You can even invite your buddies to work on the same map as yourself! Simultaneously! At the same time you can talk to them over the skype network from within the same UI.

Some more cool features of this site are:

• creating mindmaps via email or textmessages from your mobile from plain text!
• publishing your mindmaps to your website or blog
• you can use your i-calendar feeds to synchronize tasks
• exporting you mindmaps to .rtf (Word) .pdf .mm (Freemind) .gif .png .jpg or .mmap (Mindjet-MindManager)
• i-phone app (yes!)
• etc…

You might want to give it a try, it´s free in basic mode (which is completely sufficient for home use).
